About

About the Yoga class in the Park:

Hello! I am Dorothee Rechenberg, certified dance and yoga teacher. Come join me for a Yoga class in the park to feel energized, centered and calm. We will center ourselves through a short meditation and breath work. Then we will warm up the body, and flow through standing and sitting poses in a gentle manner. We will end the class with a relaxation. This is a donation based class! I have Venmo and accept cash. Suggested donation: $15. Thank you for your interest, don’t forget to keep practicing Yoga on and off the mat for your ultimate well-being!

About your teacher:

My name is Dorothee, I am french and I live in Atlanta since 2016. I am a certified dance teacher specialized in Jazz since 2006. I graduated in Paris were I taught children and danced in several shows. Then I started to travel through my dancer jobs and discovered South America, Antarctica… I moved to New York to attend dance schools. This is were I took my first Yoga class and I discovered a new passion. It started slowly, I took classes mainly by myself on Gaia DVDs and online (Lesley Fightmaster on YouTube) when I decided to build my family in Germany.

Now Yoga is more than a passion, it is a way of life. It is not only my daily practice that make me feel amazing, it is also the way I think, I eat, I breath. I  went through a beautiful transformation and I became a « 200 Hours Registered Yoga Teacher » to share this with my students and spread the well-being and love that I am experiencing. I am specialized in Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin and Children Yoga.

I am looking forward to meet you and hopefully to bring you nice tools that could be useful in your life.
