About your teacher:
I am Dorothee Rechenberg, I am french and I live in Atlanta since 2016. I am a 500 hours registered Yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance and I got my Dance Teacher certification in Paris in 2004. I started Yoga in 2007 in New York as I was studying Dance at DNA (Dance New Amsterdam). I remember the teacher explaining that I could let go of things that had happened before and things that will happen later to be in the « here and now». That was a revelation for me, especially in New York City’s stressful and fast-paced life. I decided to train online in 2020 at YOGA & AYURVEDA CENTER to share this state of well-being with the world. I am passionate about learning, always training more. Here are some of my Mentors like Lesley Fightmaster, Kino McGregor, Sadhguru, Headspace, Louise Hay. I am training in Ashtanga Yoga at Balance Yoga Atlanta and on Omstars in Miami, I am getting certified as a Children Yoga Teacher, I also practice Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative Yoga.
I am a childhood movement specialist and I teach Dance and Yoga to children in schools with Kinderdance Atlanta since 2022. I teach Gentle Yoga to adults in Memorial Park (Buckhead, Atlanta) and at the Garden Hills Community Center since March 2021 where I enjoy creating classes and adapting to my wonderful students. I created Dot Yoga to connect with nature and help people feeling great in their body and mind. I co-founded Intermission Atlanta in January 2025 to bring Wellbeing at Workplaces. I also give Workshops with The French Healing Collective: Yoga, EFT Tapping, Relaxation and Breathing specialists (check out the Gallery to see the previous Workshops!) I am guiding a meditation group every Wednesdays on Zoom. All this activities are part of my daily life and I practice all this modalities to feel good and spread the joy around me as far as possible!

We start with Journaling (what we are grateful for today, how do we feel...), then we have a warm up. We practice our sun salutations in different ways according to the theme of the day.
